Employment Law Scholarship Contest

Fall Semester, 2017

In 2015 there were nearly 90,000 employer discrimination claims filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Employment law affects all of us. As students who may soon be entering the workforce – as employees or employers –  it’s essential that you gain a fundamental understanding of your rights as an employee, and your obligations as an employer, under the law.

The Contest

Texas employment law firm Lindquist Wood Edwards is offering *two, $750 scholarships for the fall semester of 2017.

To qualify:

Eligibility

Applicants must be EITHER out-going high school seniors (graduating in 2017) OR students enrolled in a college, trade school, or university as of the fall 2017 semester.

Deadline for Participation

August 1, 2017

*Two winners will be announced on or before August 15, 2017
